I am so anxious for you to see Madelyn Jane Marriott. Alayna and Tim welcomed her (via c-section) Thurs., Oct. 2nd at 8:15 a.m. She weight 7 lb. 11 oz., and measured 20 inches. She has thick black hair and is absolutely beautiful. She had a little trouble breathing at first so she has been in the NICU, but as of today, she is off oxygen and iv's and will probably leave the nicu tonight or tomorrow. Alayna is doing fine, and they will probably go home on Monday. We are in Ogden, splitting our time between the hospital and their home taking care of Dawson. We'll go home on Wednesday. These new babies are such a blessing, and we cherish each one.

That Madelyn Jane is not just "Grandma" cute, she is just plain out cute. .. period! And her her name is so fitting of her. It's delicate and that middle name of Jane just makes me smile and makes me think of how our Mom must have been so happy when she met her and sent her to Alayna and the family to bring such happiness. Aren't families the best thing ever!! P.S. There are way too many "happy" cries going on right now. . . and that is a good thing though.
She is darling, I think I remember a picture of Alayna as a baby and looking alot like her. One more darling grandbaby to add to the list. Congrats!
Congrats to you Collette...I was wondering when Alayna was due. I wish well for them all.
